The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lefter Erkılınç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Numan Ortunc having to interfere. Cihan Bahadır sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Berker Necip got free with Ender Özertan in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ender Özertan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uğurcan Topay in the 13th minute of the match. Ali Numan Ortunc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lefter Erkılınç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lefter Erkılınç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Numan Ortunc having to interfere. When Ümit Akkaş fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rize SK's protests and gave Ümit Akkaş a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Dazkiri SK booed when Rize SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ümit Akkaş didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 19 minutes, Lefter Erkılınç managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dazkiri SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lefter Erkılınç was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Rize SK's Doğuhan Adalıoğlu got a free kick in the 22nd minute. When Lefter Erkılınç came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Dazkiri SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lefter Erkılınç couldn't finish the play. After 30 played minutes, Dazkiri SK's Yavuz Selim Karhan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ali Numan Ortunc came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dazkiri SK reached it. Lefter Erkılınç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ali Numan Ortunc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ali Numan Ortunc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lefter Erkılınç in the 35th minute of the match. Dazkiri SK's Lefter Erkılınç got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 45 minutes into the game, Uğurcan Topay recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ender Özertan. Uğurcan Topay showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cihan Bahadır to make the kick off. A long shot from Ramiz Şems in the 53rd minute of play was well struck, but Ali Numan Ortunc made a really good save at the right post. With a little luck, Rize SK's Ali Numan Ortunc got control of the ball when Lefter Erkılınç tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cihan Bahadır in the 56th minute of play forced Rize SK's goalkeeper Ali Numan Ortunc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Dazkiri SK booed when Rize SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Çetin Avcıoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rize SK's Ali Numan Ortunc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Rize SK from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Dazkiri SK defense, Uğurcan Topay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ender Özertan. The Dazkiri SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ender Özertan should have stopped the shot. Dazkiri SK's Ender Özertan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berker Necip in the 65th minute of play. After some careless play in the Dazkiri SK defense, Uğurcan Topay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ender Özertan. The Dazkiri SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ender Özertan should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Dazkiri SK getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Rasim Öge hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Dazkiri SK's zone, Uğurcan Topay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ender Özertan came out of the goal and Uğurcan Topay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 74 minutes into the match, Cihan Bahadır dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ali Numan Ortunc, 3-1. 77 minutes into the match, Dazkiri SK's goal looked a bit too open when Uğurcan Topay came free, but Ender Özertan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ali Numan Ortunc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cihan Bahadır in the 82nd minute of play. Koray Akşit charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Koray Akşit the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ender Özertan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Berker Necip went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rize SK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Dazkiri SK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
