Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emir İlksel started the match with the kick off. Demir Arısal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ufuk Hürsev, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Faruk Torlak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demir Arısal having to interfere. Ufuk Hürsev in the 12thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Demir Arısal, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ercan Avcı struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Demir Arısal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Celebi FK. Bilgin Özertem hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Ufuk Hürsev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Demir Arısal made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Faruk Torlak sent off a good shot on target. İzmir FC's Demir Arısal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ufuk Hürsev in the 30th minute of play. Ufuk Hürsev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Demir Arısal made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emir İlksel in the 35th minute of play forced Celebi FK's goalkeeper Yaşar Kiray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yaşar Kiray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barbaros Başöz in the 39th minute of play. Yaşar Kiray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emir İlksel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ufuk Hürsev in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Demir Arısal, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
The wind increased when Ufuk Hürsev made the kick off in the second half. İzmir FC's Demir Arısal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ufuk Hürsev in the 56th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Barbaros Başöz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ufuk Hürsev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Demir Arısal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 68 played minutes Celebi FK got a freekick which was hit by Hayrullah Baysal. 76 minutes into the game, Ufuk Hürsev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Demir Arısal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Barbaros Başöz took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Yaşar Kiray to make any attempt to save it. When Bilgin Özertem fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored İzmir FC's protests and gave Bilgin Özertem a yellow card for diving instead. Bilgin Özertem hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After 84 played minutes İzmir FC got a freekick which was hit by Bilgin Özertem. In the 85th minute, Ufuk Hürsev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Celebi FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Ercan Avcı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yaşar Kiray came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by İzmir FC's Barbaros Başöz. But to his dismay, Barbaros Başöz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
