Ali Numan Ortunc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 7 minutes, Sümer Hendekli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rize SK and the İzmir FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sümer Hendekli kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Çetin Avcıoğlu during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 8 played minutes Rize SK got a freekick which was hit by Çetin Avcıoğlu. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in İzmir FC reached it. After having played for 14 minutes, Emir İlksel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. İzmir FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emir İlksel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ali Numan Ortunc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emir İlksel in the 17th minute of the match. Ali Numan Ortunc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barbaros Başöz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. İzmir FC's Demir Arısal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uğurcan Topay in the 26th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hasan Can Heper during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Emir İlksel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Berker Necip struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Demir Arısal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rize SK. When Ümit Akkaş fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rize SK's protests and gave Ümit Akkaş a yellow card for diving instead. After 85 played minutes Rize SK got a freekick which was hit by Ümit Akkaş. Ali Numan Ortunc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emir İlksel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 87 minutes, Yavuzalp Sayyad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the İzmir FC and the Rize SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Demir Arısal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uğurcan Topay in the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th match minute, İzmir FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Efe Baykurt to maneuver through the defense. Rize SK's Doruk Oyum couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 97th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for İzmir FC. During the 98th minute of the match Sümer Hendekli completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Sümer Hendekli a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The Rize SK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching İzmir FC's performance. The match ended with a win for İzmir FC.
