The crowd rose to their feet as Yesilyurt's Alaaddin Akyel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ergincan Cihannur. That made the score 1-3 after 90 minutes of play. When the match was over Yesilyurt could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than İstiklal Spor throughout the match.
