Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fabinho Pombal got the match started through his kick off. Ali Cengiz Patlar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Kadiköy's zone, Fabinho Pombal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ali Cengiz Patlar came out of the goal and Fabinho Pombal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kadri Göçmen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ali Cengiz Patlar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. After some careless play in the Kadiköy defense, Fabinho Pombal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ali Cengiz Patlar. The Kadiköy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ali Cengiz Patlar should have stopped the shot. Fabinho Pombal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ali Cengiz Patlar having to make a save. A collision led to Kadiköy getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Müslüm Kocay hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the match, Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK FK's goalkeeper Cesur Polatkılıç had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sezgin Kutalmış. In the 25th minute of the match Tarkan Urandu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cesur Polatkılıç skillfully saved the ball. After 27 minutes, Fabinho Pombal made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Kadiköy's Ali Cengiz Patlar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fabinho Pombal might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ali Cengiz Patlar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabinho Pombal ran back to his position shaking his head. Gustaw Szkaradek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Ali Cengiz Patlar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ali Cengiz Patlar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabinho Pombal went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 37th minute, Dilmen Unat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustaw Szkaradek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ali Cengiz Patlar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kadri Göçmen scored 0-4 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ali Cengiz Patlar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Müslüm Kocay to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Kadiköy were awarded a corner. Tarkan Urandu went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Kadiköy's Mehmet Ali Onuralp to fire away a dangerous shot which Cesur Polatkılıç despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After having played for 59 minutes, Gustaw Szkaradek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustaw Szkaradek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ali Cengiz Patlar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabinho Pombal, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Kadri Göçmen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fabinho Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kadri Göçmen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Ali Cengiz Patlar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmet Bülent Kelim kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Müslüm Kocay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cesur Polatkılıç. Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Müslüm Kocay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. In the 90th match minute, Kadiköy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Bülent Kelim to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Müslüm Kocay in the 95th minute of play forced Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK FK's goalkeeper Cesur Polatkılıç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th minute Müslüm Kocay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesur Polatkılıç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK FK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Kadiköy.
