Spectators: 7534 (Terracing: 5652, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when İlbey Tokhan kicked off to start the match. When Tayfur Sadan fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Meric's protests and gave Tayfur Sadan a yellow card for diving instead. Tayfur Sadan hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. The supporters of Bahcekapi booed when Meric was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Akif Yalaza didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Çetin Necip had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 15 minutes of play, Meric's İlbey Tokhan made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kağan Ereken was left in no man's land by his defense there! 20 minutes into the match, Meric's Abdurrahim Ünalmış sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kağan Ereken narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bahcekapi fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 26th minute. Penalty! After a defensive mix-up in Bahcekapi's zone, Mehmet Akif Yalaza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kağan Ereken came out of the goal and Mehmet Akif Yalaza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Suphi Evcimen charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Suphi Evcimen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 46 minutes into the match, Bahcekapi's Paşa Ali Celilay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kürşat Üçer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Bahcekapi players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Meric were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paşa Ali Celilay to make the kick off. Abdurrahim Ünalmış's late challenge caught a Bahcekapi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abdurrahim Ünalmış helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Meric getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Abdurrahim Ünalmış hit a great ball. Suphi Evcimen took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kürşat Üçer. Kürşat Üçer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Vahap Açar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vahap Açar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kürşat Üçer having to interfere. After 61 played minutes Bahcekapi got a freekick which was hit by Vahap Açar. After 68 minutes of play, Meric's Çetin Necip made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kağan Ereken was left in no man's land by his defense there! İlbey Tokhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kağan Ereken having to interfere. Mehmet Akif Yalaza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Kağan Ereken made a huge save. In the 82nd minute of the match, İlbey Tokhan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kağan Ereken saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 90 minutes into the match, Bahcekapi's goalkeeper Kağan Ereken had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by İlbey Tokhan. 91 minutes into the match, Bahcekapi's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Gündüz Karaoğlan came free, but Kağan Ereken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 95 minutes Meric's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hamdi Kıvılcım who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Bahcekapi's corner Hamdi Kıvılcım fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kürşat Üçer quite easily take care of the ball. Meric played a much better game than Bahcekapi and deserved their victory. The Bahcekapi players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
