Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Meric's İlbey Tokhan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Osman Ali Köken hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Barbaros Şener during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Meric booed when Cayyolu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. İlbey Tokhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baturhan Yaruk having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, İlbey Tokhan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Baturhan Yaruk, 1-3. Abdurrahim Ünalmış sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Baturhan Yaruk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İlbey Tokhan in the 75th minute of the match. Cayyolu's Baturhan Yaruk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Gündüz Karaoğlan in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Osman Nuri İhtiyar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Cayyolu's Baturhan Yaruk got control of the ball when Abdurrahim Ünalmış tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Meric left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cayyolu.
