Osman Ali Köken charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 7th minute, Levent İmamoğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mehmet Anıl Cesimi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Gündüz Karaoğlan in the 10th minute of the match. 21 minutes in the game, İlbey Tokhan fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Mehmet Anıl Cesimi having to interfere. If İlbey Tokhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, İzzet Mansız hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Büyükorhan's Mehmet Anıl Cesimi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abbas Özan in the 29th minute of play. The supporters of Büyükorhan booed when Meric was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Akif Yalaza didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Ahmet Gündüz Karaoğlan notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Büyükorhan's Mehmet Anıl Cesimi. Mehmet Anıl Cesimi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. İzzet Mansız was shown his second yellow card after 38 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Levent İmamoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kürşat Üçer having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Menderes Tolgahan kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 60th match minute, Meric was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdurrahim Ünalmış to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Çetin Necip managed to get in a good position for a shot. Meric's supporters rose to their feet, but Çetin Necip was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mehmet Anıl Cesimi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 73 minutes of play, Meric's İlbey Tokhan made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mehmet Anıl Cesimi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Abdurrahim Ünalmış kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Büyükorhan's Mehmet Anıl Cesimi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İlbey Tokhan in the 82nd minute of play. İlbey Tokhan struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Mehmet Anıl Cesimi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Meric. In the 86th minute, Meric's Abdurrahim Ünalmış seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Abdurrahim Ünalmış the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Meric protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Abdurrahim Ünalmış had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Meric fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 86th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Büyükorhan a penalty, 88 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Şemsettin Ekincioğlu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Meric's Kürşat Üçer. 3-2. Çetin Necip received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Mehmet Anıl Cesimi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Çetin Necip fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Anıl Cesimi having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Büyükorhan's zone, Abbas Özan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mehmet Anıl Cesimi came out of the goal and Abbas Özan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
