After a defensive mix-up in Cayyolu's zone, Adem Yavuzhan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baturhan Yaruk came out of the goal and Adem Yavuzhan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Adem Yavuzhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 25 minutes of play Cayyolu's Osman Nuri İhtiyar was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The audience was convinced that Veysel Türehan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baturhan Yaruk was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ceyhun Usta during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ceyhun Usta hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Halil Keskiner to make the kick off. Baturhan Yaruk was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Başaran Geçim showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 53 minute of play. The supporters of Cayyolu booed when Barış SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gazi İlkay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adem Yavuzhan in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. When Arif Burak Vefai came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Barış SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arif Burak Vefai couldn't finish the play. Adem Yavuzhan kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Baturhan Yaruk was a little too slow when Veysel Türehan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 1-4. Arif Burak Vefai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baturhan Yaruk having to interfere. Baturhan Yaruk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Veysel Türehan, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Adem Yavuzhan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Baturhan Yaruk made a huge save. Barış SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Adem Yavuzhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baturhan Yaruk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Cayyolu fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Barış SK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
