Selman Mete started the match with the kick off. With his leg Aybars Elhan managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when Bozcaada's Abdulhamit Usal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Nurettin Andaç's late challenge caught a Bozcaada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nurettin Andaç helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bozcaada booed when Ⓖⓞⓩⓣⓔⓟⓔ ①⑨②⑤ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nurettin Andaç didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aybars Elhan made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Abdulhamit Usal sent off a good shot on target. Abdulhamit Usal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aybars Elhan having to interfere. Behzat Oğuz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Selman Mete's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. After 12 played minutes Bozcaada got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Bilge Şükrü. Ⓖⓞⓩⓣⓔⓟⓔ ①⑨②⑤'s Aybars Elhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Başaran Geylanlar in the 16th minute of play. Ⓖⓞⓩⓣⓔⓟⓔ ①⑨②⑤'s Aybars Elhan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Ⓖⓞⓩⓣⓔⓟⓔ ①⑨②⑤ from getting a goal against them. Abdulhamit Usal's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aybars Elhan firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Korhan Yalaz fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bozcaada's protests and gave Korhan Yalaz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ⓖⓞⓩⓣⓔⓟⓔ ①⑨②⑤ booed when Bozcaada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Korhan Yalaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute, Abdulhamit Usal fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. A collision led to Ⓖⓞⓩⓣⓔⓟⓔ ①⑨②⑤ getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Yaman Kemalettin hit a great ball. Abdulhamit Usal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Aybars Elhan made a huge save. Nurettin Andaç was shown his second yellow card after 44 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 46 played minutes Ⓖⓞⓩⓣⓔⓟⓔ ①⑨②⑤ got a freekick which was hit by Nurettin Andaç. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Başaran Geylanlar was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Ⓖⓞⓩⓣⓔⓟⓔ ①⑨②⑤'s goal looked a bit too open when Abdulhamit Usal came free, but Aybars Elhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aybars Elhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Başaran Geylanlar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abdulhamit Usal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aybars Elhan having to interfere. Ayhan Akbatur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Behzat Oğuz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Abdulhamit Usal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Korhan Yalaz hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Behzat Oğuz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Resulhan Akhan. Ⓖⓞⓩⓣⓔⓟⓔ ①⑨②⑤'s Kamer Mirkelam got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aybars Elhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Başaran Geylanlar in the 90th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Birol Baykır had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Behzat Oğuz. Bozcaada's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Birol Baykır was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Başaran Geylanlar struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Aybars Elhan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bozcaada. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ⓖⓞⓩⓣⓔⓟⓔ ①⑨②⑤ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
