Ertaç Hurmacı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Orlondo in the 3rd minute of play. Ejder Tokuş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ertaç Hurmacı having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gara Fatih got free with Ertaç Hurmacı in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 16th minute, Sergio Orlondo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ertaç Hurmacı. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 26th minute, Sergio Orlondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, FC MERİÇ's Baran Bilge Özyurek got a free kick in the 40th minute. The supporters of FC MERİÇ booed when BursaSpor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gara Fatih didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mücahit Tükel to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match Ataol Bakırhan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ertaç Hurmacı showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sergio Orlondo might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ertaç Hurmacı. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sergio Orlondo ran back to his position shaking his head. FC MERİÇ's Ertaç Hurmacı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mücahit Tükel in the 59th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Gara Fatih left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BursaSpor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Gara Fatih scored 4-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ertaç Hurmacı, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ertaç Hurmacı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Orlondo in the 85th minute of the match. Sebastian Daunte blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ertaç Hurmacı having to make a save. After 92 minutes, Ejder Tokuş mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BursaSpor and the FC MERİÇ players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to BursaSpor getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Ejder Tokuş hit a great ball. BursaSpor's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
