After a defensive mix-up in BursaSpor's zone, Abayhan Seyran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestor Dietz came out of the goal and Abayhan Seyran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Fadıl Baykutay fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BursaSpor's protests and gave Fadıl Baykutay a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th match minute, BursaSpor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fadıl Baykutay to maneuver through the defense. Ejder Tokuş's late challenge caught a Gfb Europe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in BursaSpor reached it. In the 39th minute of the match, Brice Lewry got a very nice opportunity to score, but Atabey Yağıztekin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Sergio Orlondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Gara Fatih managed to get in a good position for a shot. BursaSpor's supporters rose to their feet, but Gara Fatih was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atabey Yağıztekin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

BursaSpor's Nestor Dietz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehdi Erokay in the 56th minute of play. Atabey Yağıztekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gara Fatih in the 61st minute of play. With his leg Nestor Dietz managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Gfb Europe's Uğurcan Kocay fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, BursaSpor's Brice Lewry got a free kick in the 67th minute. BursaSpor made a substitution. Sebastian Daunte replaced Mücahit Tükel. Uğurcan Kocay's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nestor Dietz firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 85 played minutes BursaSpor got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Orlondo. Nestor Dietz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Uğurcan Kocay in the 87th minute. Sebastian Daunte scored 2-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Atabey Yağıztekin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Atabey Yağıztekin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sergio Orlondo went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 96th minute, Sebastian Daunte left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BursaSpor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0.
