In the 34th minute Arif Oğuz Babaoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Behzat Oğuz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, Mehmet Anıl Şükür hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 36 minutes of play, Galatasaray SK's Müjdat Batüralp made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Behzat Oğuz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Abdulhamit Usal's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Barış Yaldırak firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Galatasaray SK getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Ahmet Arif Er hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Başaran Geylanlar was the one to do the kick off. Barış Yaldırak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdulhamit Usal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the match, Bozcaada's goal looked a bit too open when Arif Oğuz Babaoğlu came free, but Behzat Oğuz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barış Yaldırak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Başaran Geylanlar, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Başaran Geylanlar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barış Yaldırak having to interfere. Başaran Geylanlar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bozcaada's goalkeeper Behzat Oğuz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bozcaada's Behzat Oğuz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Oğuz Babaoğlu in the 77th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Müjdat Batüralp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Galatasaray SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Abdulhamit Usal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barış Yaldırak having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Başaran Geylanlar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Müjdat Batüralp got free with Behzat Oğuz in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th minute, Abdulhamit Usal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Barış Yaldırak was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Galatasaray SK succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Bozcaada had controlled the match.
