With an extended leg and a bit of luck Behzat Oğuz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Bozcaada's zone, İrfan Refi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Behzat Oğuz came out of the goal and İrfan Refi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Uğurcan Kocay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Behzat Oğuz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. In the 44th minute of the match, Abdulhamit Usal got a very nice opportunity to score, but Atabey Yağıztekin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Uğurcan Kocay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

After a rather tough play, Gfb Europe's İrfan Refi got a free kick in the 51st minute. Uğurcan Kocay charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
