In the 10th minute, Kurtuluş İmren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Behzat Oğuz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Abdulvahit Berksan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the game, ENDERSON's Kurtuluş İmren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Behzat Oğuz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 32nd match minute, ENDERSON was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ertunç Ungur to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute of the match, Başaran Geylanlar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bayındır Mehmet Tekindağ saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 44th match minute, ENDERSON was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mutlu Satı to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in ENDERSON's zone, Baysal Derinöz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bayındır Mehmet Tekindağ came out of the goal and Baysal Derinöz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 47 played minutes ENDERSON got a freekick which was hit by Abdullah Uca. After the first half ENDERSON were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Başaran Geylanlar to make the kick off. If Abdulvahit Berksan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 53rd minute, Bozcaada's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Abdulvahit Berksan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 80th minute Kurtuluş İmren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Behzat Oğuz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bozcaada's Mehmet Bilge Şükrü got a free kick in the 83rd minute. If Kurtuluş İmren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute.
