Teoman Tanören kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Timur Şenol took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ceyhun Türkşen. Taytay's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tayyip Bürgehan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ceyhun Türkşen made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Korhan Saik sent off a good shot on target. 39 minutes into the match, Taytay's goalkeeper Ceyhun Türkşen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Korhan Saik. Taytay's Ceyhun Türkşen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Taytay from getting a goal against them. 42 minutes into the match, Taytay's goal looked a bit too open when Serhat Hizanlı came free, but Ceyhun Türkşen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Gazanfer Özcan Akçiçek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Serhat Hizanlı stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Veysel Ergintuğ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tayyip Bürgehan in the 52nd minute of play. Tayyip Bürgehan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Veysel Ergintuğ read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Veysel Ergintuğ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tayyip Bürgehan, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Veysel Ergintuğ was a little too slow when Tayyip Bürgehan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 2-1. Ceyhun Türkşen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serhat Hizanlı in the 77th minute of play. Ceyhun Türkşen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Korhan Saik in the 79th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, CENA-BETİS's Gazanfer Özcan Akçiçek got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 84th minute, Paşa Revan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
