The audience thought a goal was coming when Yaşar Harmandalı got free with Dorukhan Kutalp in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of Edirne:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tardigrad FK:s goal. When the match had been going on for 18 minutes, Tardigrad FK's Olof Zander got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Dorukhan Kutalp. If Yaşar Harmandalı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dorukhan Kutalp stood somewhat misplaced when Porfiro Ordax came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 27 minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Porfiro Ordax to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Porfiro Ordax in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dorukhan Kutalp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Mehmet Anıl Çavlı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Yaşar Harmandalı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yaşar Harmandalı in the 62nd minute of play forced Edirne's goalkeeper Dorukhan Kutalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
