Malatya SK's Barışcan Aktaşlıoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Meriç Vecihi in the 20th minute of play. After having played for 24 minutes, Gökçe Balkanlıoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malatya SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gökçe Balkanlıoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Barışcan Aktaşlıoğlu came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Güvenevler's Babür Karadeniz. But to his dismay, Babür Karadeniz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Malatya SK's Barışcan Aktaşlıoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Babür Karadeniz in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Meriç Vecihi in the 36th minute of play forced Malatya SK's goalkeeper Barışcan Aktaşlıoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Malatya SK's goal looked a bit too open when Babür Karadeniz came free, but Barışcan Aktaşlıoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barışcan Aktaşlıoğlu came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Güvenevler's Sufi Ege. But to his dismay, Sufi Ege quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After 48 played minutes Malatya SK got a freekick which was hit by Sefa Oytun. Güvenevler's Durmuş Birhan got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gökçe Balkanlıoğlu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Malatya SK's goalkeeper Barışcan Aktaşlıoğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Babür Karadeniz. Barışcan Aktaşlıoğlu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sufi Ege went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After 61 played minutes Güvenevler got a freekick which was hit by Babür Karadeniz. Barışcan Aktaşlıoğlu made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Babür Karadeniz sent off a good shot on target. Gökçe Balkanlıoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güner Ahi having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Lemi Kırman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malatya SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Lemi Kırman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Güner Ahi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Malatya SK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Durmuş Birhan was slow to take the kick. During this time Güvenevler's players had a chance to rest. After having played for 78 minutes, Gökçe Balkanlıoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malatya SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gökçe Balkanlıoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Barışcan Aktaşlıoğlu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Gökçe Balkanlıoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malatya SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Gökçe Balkanlıoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Güner Ahi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Barışcan Aktaşlıoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murat Selim Tecimen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Malatya SK getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Ertuğrul Temur hit a great ball. Barışcan Aktaşlıoğlu made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Babür Karadeniz sent off a good shot on target.
