In the 14th match minute, Kemeralti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genco Bayezit to maneuver through the defense. Sandikli's Şeref Özata proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Sandikli from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd minute, Teoman Atlas made a precise shot to the right of İrfan Eke. Kemeralti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Şeref Özata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gencay Karacan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Özcan Ugraş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İrfan Eke having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Özcan Ugraş in the 35th minute of play forced Kemeralti's goalkeeper İrfan Eke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Veli Saygur hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. If Adem Sabeddin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Özcan Ugraş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. İrfan Eke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gencay Karacan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Teoman Atlas came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Sandikli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teoman Atlas couldn't finish the play. In the 66th minute of the match, Teoman Atlas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but İrfan Eke saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Kemeralti getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Varol Erdemalp hit a great ball. It was beautiful to see Sandikli's Abdi Saygın Çetinsoy in action when he in the 78th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Ali Galip Hisarcık's late challenge caught a Sandikli's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ali Galip Hisarcık helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th match minute, Kemeralti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Galip Hisarcık to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Özcan Ugraş could shoot a difficult shot in the 80th minute, which İrfan Eke however easily saved by the left post. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Teoman Atlas took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for İrfan Eke to make any attempt to save it. Şeref Özata stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adem Sabeddin's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. İrfan Eke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teoman Atlas, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Özcan Ugraş could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but İrfan Eke made a huge save. After 89 played minutes Sandikli got a freekick which was hit by Hakkı Onur Tanzer. Şeref Özata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adem Sabeddin, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Adem Sabeddin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sandikli eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
