After 5 minutes of play, Fenerbahçe's Hıdır Horasan made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Üzeyir Arıcan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ahmet Necdet Ongu might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cevat Özkent. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmet Necdet Ongu ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 11th minute, Kamuran Pekdeger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ali Berkant Ogansoy struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Cevat Özkent didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for URASPOR. After a defensive mix-up in Fenerbahçe's zone, Ahmet Necdet Ongu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cevat Özkent came out of the goal and Ahmet Necdet Ongu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anıl Arda Sarvan hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Kamuran Pekdeger hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Kamuran Pekdeger kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 20thth minute of the game Ahmet Necdet Ongu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fenerbahçe's Cevat Özkent was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anıl Arda Sarvan hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Ali Berkant Ogansoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. İskender Cebir hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Üzeyir Arıcan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Orhan İlcan in the 24th minute of play. If Ali Orhan İlcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, Ahmet Necdet Ongu made a precise shot to the right of Cevat Özkent. Fenerbahçe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Ali Berkant Ogansoy took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cevat Özkent. Cevat Özkent dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 35 minutes into the game, İskender Cebir was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. URASPOR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fenerbahçe the free kick. In the 36th match minute, URASPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İskender Cebir to maneuver through the defense. Hıdır Horasan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Üzeyir Arıcan firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ahmet Necdet Ongu struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Cevat Özkent didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for URASPOR. Kamuran Pekdeger charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ali Orhan İlcan was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Fenerbahçe's Cevat Özkent got control of the ball when Ali Berkant Ogansoy tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 55th minute, Ali Berkant Ogansoy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Üzeyir Arıcan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Orhan İlcan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hıdır Horasan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Üzeyir Arıcan having to interfere. If Ali Orhan İlcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hıdır Horasan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Üzeyir Arıcan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Orhan İlcan in the 70th minute of play forced URASPOR's goalkeeper Üzeyir Arıcan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 72 played minutes URASPOR got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Danış Perva. Lefter Taşcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cevat Özkent was a little too slow when Ahmet Necdet Ongu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Ali Orhan İlcan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fenerbahçe's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Orhan İlcan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Üzeyir Arıcan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ali Berkant Ogansoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute.
