Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Akgün Guftar started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Rumelikavagi's Aras Özbilir got a free kick in the 7th minute. Akgün Guftar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serkan Uzhan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Serkan Uzhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Akgün Guftar in the 10th minute of the match. After having played for 13 minutes, Behlül Karanalp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gayrettepe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Behlül Karanalp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Güray Ahi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Akgün Guftar in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Serkan Uzhan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gayrettepe's Behlül Karanalp got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Akgün Guftar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Akgün Guftar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gayrettepe's supporters rose to their feet, but Akgün Guftar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serkan Uzhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Behlül Karanalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The wind increased when Güray Ahi made the kick off in the second half. The goalkeeper, Serkan Uzhan, was totally fooled by Gayrettepe's Arif Memduh Belge, who 54 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Ahmet Fikret Dilşah was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 75 minutes, Aykut Tokhan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rumelikavagi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aykut Tokhan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Rumelikavagi booed when Gayrettepe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mümtaz Lebib didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute, Sacit Özguner sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Gayrettepe's Ahmet Fikret Dilşah didn't even have to move. When Aykut Tokhan came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Rumelikavagi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aykut Tokhan couldn't finish the play. Ahmet Nafiz İltekin charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
