Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gökmen Karanalp started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the game, Vecdet Ruşeni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Konak's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gayrettepe the free kick. A collision led to Konak getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Vecdet Ruşeni hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Konak's Gökmen Karanalp slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ahmet Fikret Dilşah. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. Akgün Guftar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Behlül Yılkan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Gökmen Karanalp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Gökmen Karanalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Fikret Dilşah didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gökmen Karanalp went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Behlül Karanalp's late challenge caught a Konak's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Behlül Karanalp helped the player get up and apologised. 24 minutes into the match, Konak's goal looked a bit too open when Akgün Guftar came free, but Behlül Yılkan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Gayrettepe booed when Konak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Akif Pektay didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Konak's Esat Nezihi got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 28th minute of the match Arif Memduh Belge sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Behlül Yılkan skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gökmen Karanalp got free with Ahmet Fikret Dilşah in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 31st match minute, Konak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cihat Tuz to maneuver through the defense. Behlül Yılkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Akgün Guftar in the 33rd minute of the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Akgün Guftar to make the kick off. Behlül Yılkan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Akgün Guftar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gökmen Karanalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Fikret Dilşah came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Konak's Gökmen Karanalp. But to his dismay, Gökmen Karanalp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Dinç Özdoru might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ahmet Fikret Dilşah. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dinç Özdoru ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Behlül Karanalp got free with Behlül Yılkan in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ahmet Fikret Dilşah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gökmen Karanalp in the 86th minute of the match. Gökmen Karanalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Konak fully deserved thier win.
