When Ahmet Haşim Arslantürk came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Ümraniye FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Haşim Arslantürk couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hacı Ali Sakman made a kick off. Hazar Erez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yavuz Selimhan Özyuva, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 76th minute, Hacı Ali Sakman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ümraniye FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Ergin Türköz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ümraniye FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ergin Türköz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hazar Erez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sergen Durukan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Tolga Yazgı in the 88th minute of play. Ahmet Tolga Yazgı kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 91st minute Ahmet Haşim Arslantürk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hazar Erez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Haşim Arslantürk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Islahiye's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
