Sergen Durukan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in DORUK MERT's zone, Hacı Ali Sakman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cuma Ongunes came out of the goal and Hacı Ali Sakman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 18 minutes into the match, Necat Sualp dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sergen Durukan, 1-0. With a little luck, Ümraniye FK's Sergen Durukan got control of the ball when Sarp Mennan tried to sneak it across the goal line. DORUK MERT's Necat Sualp got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Hacı Ali Sakman came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Ümraniye FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hacı Ali Sakman couldn't finish the play. After 34 played minutes, Ümraniye FK's Abbas Zağanos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cuma Ongunes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ümraniye FK reached it. Cuma Ongunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Haşim Arslantürk in the 35th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ümraniye FK's Ahmet Korkut Ramazan got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 45th match minute, DORUK MERT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Necat Sualp to maneuver through the defense. Hacı Ali Sakman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Necat Sualp made a kick off. Sergen Durukan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Necat Sualp, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yavuz Selimhan Özyuva during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sergen Durukan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sarp Mennan, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Ergin Türköz's late challenge caught a DORUK MERT's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ergin Türköz helped the player get up and apologised. After 83 played minutes Ümraniye FK got a freekick which was hit by Ergin Türköz. In the 84th minute of the match Vacid Öznur sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sergen Durukan skillfully saved the ball. In the 86th minute, Vacid Nezihi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute of the match Ahmet Korkut Ramazan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cuma Ongunes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Sarp Mennan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Ümraniye FK's zone, Sarp Mennan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergen Durukan came out of the goal and Sarp Mennan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. DORUK MERT's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
