Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gökmen Karanalp started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Konak's goalkeeper Behlül Yılkan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aykut Tokhan. Konak's Gökmen Karanalp got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dinç Özdoru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gökmen Karanalp struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Serkan Uzhan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Konak. After 16 minutes, Cihat Tuz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Konak and the Rumelikavagi players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Rumelikavagi booed when Konak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cihat Tuz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Hüsmen Vaha fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rumelikavagi's protests and gave Hüsmen Vaha a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th minute, Hüsmen Vaha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 25 played minutes Rumelikavagi got a freekick which was hit by Aras Özbilir. In the 27th minute of the match Dinç Özdoru shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Serkan Uzhan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Gökmen Karanalp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Konak's supporters rose to their feet, but Gökmen Karanalp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serkan Uzhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Konak getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Vecdet Ruşeni hit a great ball. Rumelikavagi's Serkan Uzhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gökmen Karanalp in the 36th minute of play. When Gökmen Karanalp came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Konak fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gökmen Karanalp couldn't finish the play. Konak's Dinç Özdoru got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Konak's Cihat Tuz got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Güray Ahi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Güray Ahi made the kick off in the second half. Gökmen Karanalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Serkan Uzhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dinç Özdoru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serkan Uzhan having to interfere. Gökmen Karanalp's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Serkan Uzhan firmly grabbed it by the left post. Dinç Özdoru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Serkan Uzhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the game, one of Konak:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 65 minutes into the match, Konak's goal looked a bit too open when Güray Ahi came free, but Behlül Yılkan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute Aykut Tokhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Behlül Yılkan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aykut Tokhan in the 70th minute of play forced Konak's goalkeeper Behlül Yılkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aykut Tokhan scored 3-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Behlül Yılkan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aykut Tokhan in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Behlül Yılkan saved Konak from getting behind. 78 minutes into the game, Mustafa Oğuz Binışık was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Konak's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rumelikavagi the free kick. After 78 played minutes Konak got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Oğuz Binışık. Güray Ahi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Behlül Yılkan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Rumelikavagi's Ahmet Nafiz İltekin got a free kick in the 91st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Güray Ahi in the 93rd minute of play forced Konak's goalkeeper Behlül Yılkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Konak's Behlül Yılkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Güray Ahi in the 95th minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Rumelikavagi were victorious despite being under pressure from Konak for much of the match.
