Doğaner Taymaz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maxime Kockaerts went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Maxime Kockaerts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doğaner Taymaz having to interfere. Şentürk Ulumeriç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Ricciuti having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ziyapaşa SK's zone, Maxime Kockaerts stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doğaner Taymaz came out of the goal and Maxime Kockaerts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute Felix Augustin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doğaner Taymaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doğaner Taymaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Augustin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Ziyapaşa SK defense, Maxime Kockaerts kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Doğaner Taymaz. The Ziyapaşa SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Doğaner Taymaz should have stopped the shot. Ziyapaşa SK's attentive Jedrzej Czciborek managed to snatch the ball when Ahmet Ege Oğuzman made a throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game. Alexis Bajeux hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Per Andberg shot from long distance in the 35th minute, but Eugenio Ricciuti was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Doğaner Taymaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Ege Oğuzman in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute Ahmet Ege Oğuzman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doğaner Taymaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Felix Augustin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Fausto Vaiani left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MPC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Şentürk Ulumeriç to strike the kick off in the second half. MPC's Eugenio Ricciuti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şentürk Ulumeriç in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd match minute, MPC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Boran Candaner to maneuver through the defense. MPC's Eugenio Ricciuti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şentürk Ulumeriç in the 54th minute of play. Maxime Kockaerts's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Doğaner Taymaz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. In the 68th minute, MPC's Maxime Kockaerts ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Doğaner Taymaz. Doğaner Taymaz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maxime Kockaerts got free with Doğaner Taymaz in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Vaiani in the 76th minute of play forced Ziyapaşa SK's goalkeeper Doğaner Taymaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, MPC's Fausto Vaiani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Doğaner Taymaz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eugenio Ricciuti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jedrzej Czciborek in the 80th minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, Maxime Kockaerts recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Doğaner Taymaz. When Şentürk Ulumeriç came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Ziyapaşa SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Şentürk Ulumeriç couldn't finish the play.
