In the 9th minute Alican Deren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timur Hakan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Levent Şahbender stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lütfü Tokuşhan's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Levent Şahbender didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 14th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. In the 18th minute of the match Asrın Süreyya sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Timur Hakan skillfully saved the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Ferhan Tecimer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Diyadin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ilkadımspor the free kick. The supporters of ilkadımspor booed when Diyadin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferhan Tecimer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diyadin's Timur Hakan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alican Deren in the 24th minute of play. Lütfü Tokuşhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 27 played minutes Diyadin got a freekick which was hit by Ferhan Tecimer. In the 30th minute, Ramiz Yazır got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Levent Şahbender managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Diyadin's Altuğ Akbatu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of ilkadımspor booed when Diyadin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ercan Şükran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Altuğ Akbatu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Levent Şahbender made a huge save. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Lütfü Tokuşhan sped through ilkadımspor's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Levent Şahbender. When Lütfü Tokuşhan came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Diyadin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lütfü Tokuşhan couldn't finish the play. Timur Hakan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Demirhan Savni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lütfü Tokuşhan made a kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Diyadin's goalkeeper Timur Hakan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When ilkadımspor's Alican Deren in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Diyadin's goalie prevented a goal. Alican Deren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Altuğ Akbatu hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the game, Diyadin's Lütfü Tokuşhan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Levent Şahbender made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. The audience was convinced that Demirhan Savni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Timur Hakan was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Diyadin's Lütfü Tokuşhan got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Demirhan Savni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Timur Hakan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. After 83 minutes, Lütfü Tokuşhan made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. ilkadımspor's Levent Şahbender tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 88 minutes into the match, ilkadımspor's Demirhan Savni sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Timur Hakan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 90th minute, Asrın Süreyya sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Diyadin's Timur Hakan didn't even have to move. Timur Hakan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alican Deren's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alican Deren in the 95th minute of play forced Diyadin's goalkeeper Timur Hakan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Diyadin players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
