Cihat Bozer didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the match, KaraKartal's goal looked a bit too open when Lütfü Tokuşhan came free, but Bedir Taib reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. KaraKartal were furious when Erdal Yunus was red carded, 11 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee gave Diyadin a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cebrail Gürtuna, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of KaraKartal's Bedir Taib. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Altuğ Akbatu in the 21st minute of play forced KaraKartal's goalkeeper Bedir Taib to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Altuğ Akbatu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Bedir Taib tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, KaraKartal's goal looked a bit too open when Lütfü Tokuşhan came free, but Bedir Taib reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bedir Taib showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferhan Tecimer in the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Altuğ Akbatu made a precise shot to the right of Bedir Taib. KaraKartal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Bedir Taib didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ferhan Tecimer went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 42nd minute of the match Fevzi Kunt shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bedir Taib showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Lütfü Tokuşhan made the kick off in the second half. Bedir Taib showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferhan Tecimer in the 52nd minute of the match. Cihat Bozer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Bedir Taib made a huge save. Timur Hakan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aybar Korgan in the 60th minute of play. Bedir Taib made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Altuğ Akbatu sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 64 minutes, Cihat Bozer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Diyadin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cihat Bozer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Diyadin's Bedir Taib threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ferhan Tecimer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 67th match minute, KaraKartal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nazmi Yenal to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Diyadin's zone, Oğuzcan Ayaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timur Hakan came out of the goal and Oğuzcan Ayaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. KaraKartal's Arif Oğuz Tamerk was substituted for Harun Rikap. 81 minutes into the match, Diyadin's Ferhan Tecimer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bedir Taib narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Nazmi Yenal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in KaraKartal's zone, Lütfü Tokuşhan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bedir Taib came out of the goal and Lütfü Tokuşhan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diyadin played a much better game than KaraKartal and deserved their victory. The KaraKartal players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
