Lütfü Tokuşhan ran back to his position shaking his head. Cihat Bozer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Güner Yorangil made a huge save. Güner Yorangil was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Altuğ Akbatu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Altuğ Akbatu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. When Lütfü Tokuşhan came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Diyadin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lütfü Tokuşhan couldn't finish the play. Diyadin's Altuğ Akbatu got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bayezit Zevahir kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lütfü Tokuşhan in the 32nd minute of play forced Tandogan's goalkeeper Güner Yorangil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Bayezit Zevahir fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tandogan's protests and gave Bayezit Zevahir a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Tandogan's Bayezit Zevahir got a free kick in the 38th minute. After 40 played minutes Diyadin got a freekick which was hit by Ercan Şükran. Arda Göksel Ungan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Timur Hakan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Tandogan's Selçuk Gülsoy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Timur Hakan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 47 minutes in the game, Lütfü Tokuşhan fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Güner Yorangil having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Selçuk Gülsoy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Tandogan's zone, Cihat Bozer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Güner Yorangil came out of the goal and Cihat Bozer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Diyadin booed when Tandogan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamdi Osman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Güner Yorangil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lütfü Tokuşhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Tandogan's goal looked a bit too open when Altuğ Akbatu came free, but Güner Yorangil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Lütfü Tokuşhan made a precise shot to the right of Güner Yorangil. Tandogan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Ferhan Tecimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serhat Saadettin charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Serhat Saadettin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 82nd match minute, Tandogan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serhat Saadettin to maneuver through the defense. Diyadin's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
