An unexpectedly hard shot by Efekan Olcay in the 7th minute of play forced GALATASARAY's goalkeeper Seyfullah Akçiçek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of TOPRAKSPOR booed when GALATASARAY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Israel Ortle didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute, Efekan Olcay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Raik Tamer notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of TOPRAKSPOR's Nazım Beysan. Nazım Beysan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nazım Beysan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raik Tamer in the 34th minute of the match. Seyfullah Akçiçek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efekan Olcay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Halit Ziya Denizalp who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Seyfullah Akçiçek when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 42 minutes into the match, Halit Ziya Denizalp dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Seyfullah Akçiçek, 1-2. Nazım Beysan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Israel Ortle in the 46th minute of the match. The TOPRAKSPOR players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. GALATASARAY were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Israel Ortle stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in TOPRAKSPOR's zone, Israel Ortle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nazım Beysan came out of the goal and Israel Ortle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by İsmail Hakkı Kutulmuş in the 83rd minute of play forced TOPRAKSPOR's goalkeeper Nazım Beysan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Halit Ziya Denizalp in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Seyfullah Akçiçek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Seyfullah Akçiçek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aykut Oğuzbay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 92 minutes, Halit Ziya Denizalp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TOPRAKSPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Halit Ziya Denizalp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gökhan Tokyürek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Seyfullah Akçiçek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see TOPRAKSPOR lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
