The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sami Cenap during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Turhal SK booed when TÖRNÜK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sami Cenap didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Boran Aktay kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emin Uğursay. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. A hard shot 10 in the game by Semi Denizalp from a close distance when the talented Emin Uğursay managed to make a qualified save. TÖRNÜK's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gökcan Orsel in the 13th minute of play forced TÖRNÜK's goalkeeper Emin Uğursay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, TÖRNÜK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Boran Aktay fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Emin Uğursay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boran Aktay in the 18th minute of the match. Boran Aktay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Emin Uğursay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd match minute, TÖRNÜK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sami Cenap to maneuver through the defense. Semi Denizalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Emin Uğursay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Mürsel Melik came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the TÖRNÜK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mürsel Melik couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Turhal SK's zone, Mürsel Melik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. İlhami Özbil came out of the goal and Mürsel Melik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emin Uğursay was a little too slow when Boran Aktay got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 2-0. Semi Denizalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emin Uğursay having to interfere. Boran Aktay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Turhal SK getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Gökcan Orsel hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Mürsel Melik made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Boran Aktay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emin Uğursay was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. In the 66th minute Boran Aktay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emin Uğursay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. TÖRNÜK's Emin Uğursay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Semi Denizalp in the 67th minute of play. Emin Uğursay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boran Aktay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boran Aktay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emin Uğursay having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Semi Denizalp in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emin Uğursay saved TÖRNÜK from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Turhal SK's Sertel Tunçkan got a free kick in the 85th minute. Mürsel Meliks short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got İlhami Özbil to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. For all the effort they put into the match, the TÖRNÜK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Turhal SK.
