The shot was stopped by İlhami Özbil but with some difficulty. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Semi Denizalp sped through Black Stockings FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ali Hadi. Ali Hadi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boran Aktay in the 26th minute of the match. After 30 played minutes Black Stockings FC got a freekick which was hit by Afşar Mennan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boran Aktay in the 46th minute of play forced Black Stockings FC's goalkeeper Ali Hadi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Boran Aktay was the one to do the kick off. Müfit Urandu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İlhami Özbil having to interfere. Turhal SK's Semi Denizalp got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Gökcan Orsel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
