After 3 played minutes Southern in the North got a freekick which was hit by Baskın Türköz. Ahmet Çağrı Vecihi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İbrahim Efe Kutluay having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Erhan Ülkenur had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of İbrahim Efe Kutluay. Southern in the North's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erhan Ülkenur was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 13th minute, Erhan Ülkenur made a precise shot to the right of İbrahim Efe Kutluay. Southern in the North's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After having played for 17 minutes, Dinçer Esir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Southern in the North's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dinçer Esir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 18 played minutes Fenerbahçe Beko got a freekick which was hit by Muhsin Çelebi. After a defensive mix-up in Southern in the North's zone, Erhan Ülkenur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. İbrahim Efe Kutluay came out of the goal and Erhan Ülkenur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Resul Hacıahmetoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Ali Behzat Arslantürk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute of the match Ahmet Tolga Sarısaltuk shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ali Behzat Arslantürk showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Southern in the North's goalkeeper İbrahim Efe Kutluay, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

Erhan Ülkenur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 50th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Dinçer Esir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the game, one of Fenerbahçe Beko:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Erhan Ülkenur might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over İbrahim Efe Kutluay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erhan Ülkenur ran back to his position shaking his head. With his leg İbrahim Efe Kutluay managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Fenerbahçe Beko's Ahmet Çağrı Vecihi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee gave Fenerbahçe Beko a penalty, 68 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Hakan Temirhan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Southern in the North's İbrahim Efe Kutluay. 0-3. The audience was convinced that Dinçer Esir's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ali Behzat Arslantürk was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Ahmet Çağrı Vecihi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İbrahim Efe Kutluay having to interfere. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Fenerbahçe Beko's goalkeeper Ali Behzat Arslantürk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mustafa Arif Çelen hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 93rd match minute, Southern in the North was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Burç Sati to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute, Erhan Ülkenur fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of İbrahim Efe Kutluay, passed just outside the right post. The Southern in the North fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Fenerbahçe Beko were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
