The supporters of KELKITSPOR booed when Southern in the North was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Resul Hacıahmetoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arif Sehrud hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, KELKITSPOR's Enginsu Nesil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that İbrahim Efe Kutluay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Southern in the North defense, Eralp Başbuğoğlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of İbrahim Efe Kutluay. The Southern in the North fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that İbrahim Efe Kutluay should have stopped the shot. Eralp Başbuğoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. İbrahim Efe Kutluay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sungurhan Akçiçek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. KELKITSPOR's Sungurhan Akçiçek got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sungurhan Akçiçek helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to KELKITSPOR getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Sungurhan Akçiçek hit a great ball. Eralp Başbuğoğlu might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over İbrahim Efe Kutluay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eralp Başbuğoğlu ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Southern in the North getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Resul Hacıahmetoğlu hit a great ball. In the 67th minute Eralp Başbuğoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İbrahim Efe Kutluay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinçer Esir in the 72nd minute of play forced KELKITSPOR's goalkeeper Saffet Türkyılmaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saffet Türkyılmaz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dinçer Esir went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score.
