Dilmen Usbay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reha Kınay, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Çetin Kocaalp in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arif Memduh Yiğitkan saved Buharkent from getting behind. When Yavuz Baykal came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Viransehir FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yavuz Baykal couldn't finish the play. 15 minutes into the match, Buharkent's Vecdi Kamuran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dilmen Usbay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Yavuz Baykal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Viransehir FK's Çetin Kocaalp in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Buharkent's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Buharkent booed when Viransehir FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pekin Oğuralp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reha Kınay struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Dilmen Usbay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buharkent. After 29 played minutes Viransehir FK got a freekick which was hit by Pekin Oğuralp. 37 minutes into the match, Buharkent's goal looked a bit too open when Çetin Kocaalp came free, but Arif Memduh Yiğitkan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Viransehir FK's Hüseyin Boyraz couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 41st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Buharkent. Buharkent's Arif Memduh Yiğitkan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Buharkent from getting a goal against them. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reha Kınay made a kick off. Arif Memduh Yiğitkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Çetin Kocaalp in the 52nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Buharkent's zone, Çetin Kocaalp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arif Memduh Yiğitkan came out of the goal and Çetin Kocaalp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yavuz Baykal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 59 minutes, Yavuz Baykal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Viransehir FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yavuz Baykal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Çetin Kocaalp struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Arif Memduh Yiğitkan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Viransehir FK. 66 minutes into the match, Çetin Kocaalp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arif Memduh Yiğitkan. Buharkent's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Çetin Kocaalp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Çetin Kocaalp might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arif Memduh Yiğitkan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Çetin Kocaalp ran back to his position shaking his head. Buharkent's Arif Memduh Yiğitkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yavuz Baykal in the 90th minute of play. Yavuz Baykal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute.
