Bayındır Mehmet Hisarcık fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bilal Öge having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Hamdullah İren took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Nebi Sayman to make any attempt to save it. 14 minutes into the match, Mersin's goalkeeper Nebi Sayman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rıfat Necmi. Saip Ekincioğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Bilal Öge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cagaloglu's goalkeeper Bilal Öge, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bilal Öge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bayındır Mehmet Hisarcık, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The referee showed Saip Ekincioğlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 36 played minutes Mersin got a freekick which was hit by Saip Ekincioğlu. Nebi Sayman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gürhan Tecmil in the 54th minute of the match. With a little luck, Cagaloglu's Bilal Öge got control of the ball when Bayındır Mehmet Hisarcık tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bayındır Mehmet Hisarcık fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bilal Öge having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Bayındır Mehmet Hisarcık got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bayındır Mehmet Hisarcık showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. In the 82nd minute, Özbek Baykır left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cagaloglu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Nebi Sayman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rıfat Necmi in the 86th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Bayındır Mehmet Hisarcık got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Mersin's goal looked a bit too open when Rıfat Necmi came free, but Nebi Sayman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mersin players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cagaloglu.
