The audience thought a goal was coming when Fikri Saygın got free with Zülfikar Ortunc in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Kenan Senih had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zülfikar Ortunc was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Kenan Senih capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kenan Senih really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, Battı balık yan gider !'s goalkeeper Zülfikar Ortunc had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fikri Saygın. If Fikri Saygın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute of the match, Fikri Saygın got a very nice opportunity to score, but Zülfikar Ortunc was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 25 minutes Battı balık yan gider !'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kazım Cingöz who took care of the corner kick. Birkan Batı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gürkan Dikmen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alp Ruhittin was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 33rd minute. Samsunspor's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Samsunspor's Kazım Cingöz was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 34th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 39 minutes into the game, Kazım Cingöz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Zülfikar Ortunc was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 43 minutes into the match, Gürkan Dikmen notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Samsunspor's Birkan Batı. Birkan Batı was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Battı balık yan gider !'s Zülfikar Ortunc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alp Ruhittin in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute Samsunspor were awarded a corner. Kazım Cingöz went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Kazım Cingöz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zülfikar Ortunc quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ragıp Özgur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 58 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Battı balık yan gider !! The referee gave Samsunspor a penalty, 60 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Kazım Cingöz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Battı balık yan gider !'s Zülfikar Ortunc. 4-1. Zülfikar Ortunc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kazım Cingöz in the 63rd minute of the match. After 63 played minutes Battı balık yan gider ! got a freekick which was hit by Mazhar Onbulak. After a rather tough play, Battı balık yan gider !'s Atabey Süreyya got a free kick in the 65th minute. Fikri Saygın fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zülfikar Ortunc having to interfere. Alp Ruhittin struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Zülfikar Ortunc didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Samsunspor. In the 81st minute, Kazım Cingöz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zülfikar Ortunc was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Kenan Senih recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 86 minutes, Yaser Canver managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Samsunspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yaser Canver was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 93 minutes of play, Samsunspor's Kenan Senih made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zülfikar Ortunc was left in no man's land by his defense there! 97 minutes into the game, Samsunspor's Kenan Senih nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zülfikar Ortunc made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Samsunspor had played much better football throughout.
