The referee showed Suavi Veysel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bedih Tokdemir blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Battal Gazi Özgiray having to make a save. In the 12th minute Buğrahan Gülle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Battal Gazi Özgiray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Suavi Veysel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Akil Hazar made a huge save. Yaman Yağızalp hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute Buğrahan Gülle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Battal Gazi Özgiray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Beykoz1908sk booed when Gökceyazi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doğukan Erandaç didn't get a good kick on the ball. Battal Gazi Özgiray didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Çetin Özarkın went, in the 49th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bedih Tokdemir stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Gökceyazi's goalkeeper Battal Gazi Özgiray had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Buğrahan Gülle. Gökceyazi's İlhami Kavi got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute Süruri Uzbay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akil Hazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yaman Yağızalp charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Gökceyazi's Battal Gazi Özgiray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bedih Tokdemir in the 95th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Beykoz1908sk's Buğrahan Gülle got a free kick in the 96th minute. Akil Hazar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İlhami Kavi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
