No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Gencal Safvetullah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baykal Zirve having to interfere. Baykal Zirve came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Güzelyurt's Abdullatif Alkım. But to his dismay, Abdullatif Alkım quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. If Ahmet Refik Türehan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Halit Taşdan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Abdullatif Alkım had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, one of Güzelyurt:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Güzelyurt. The supporters of 51 NİĞDE SK booed when Güzelyurt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdullatif Alkım didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute, Atahan Sayıl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yusuf Messi hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match.
