After 2 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Çamiçi SK! After having played for 9 minutes, Haşmet Baykal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bahce FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haşmet Baykal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 12 minutes into the game, Polat Akkaş recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rıfkı Razi. Polat Akkaş showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Haşmet Baykal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 20 played minutes Çamiçi SK got a freekick which was hit by Korkut Terzioğlu. Haşmet Baykal missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 22 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Serhan Yazır right hand side. When Lütfi Durul fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Çamiçi SK's protests and gave Lütfi Durul a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd minute, Lütfi Durul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Çamiçi SK getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Pekin Bayraktaroğlu hit a great ball. Rıfkı Razi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Polat Akkaş in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute Alpay Erginay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serhan Yazır saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Yaman Aliyar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nizam Hadi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Serhan Yazır tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Nizam Hadi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bahce FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Nizam Hadi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serhan Yazır breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Haşmet Baykal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Nizam Hadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Serhan Yazır stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Haşmet Baykal's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Merih Yazır charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Merih Yazır the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Merih Yazır kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Sezer Tecmil hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. When Aşır Özsan fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bahce FK's protests and gave Aşır Özsan a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Çamiçi SK booed when Bahce FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aşır Özsan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Haşmet Baykal made the kick off in the second half. Rıfkı Razi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from İsmet Temizalp went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Garip Yavuzay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Alpay Erginay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Serhan Yazır was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. After 67 played minutes Çamiçi SK got a freekick which was hit by Ali Behzat Perker. Nizam Hadi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th minute Alpay Erginay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serhan Yazır saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haşmet Baykal in the 79th minute of play forced Çamiçi SK's goalkeeper Serhan Yazır to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Polat Akkaş in the 80th minute of play forced Bahce FK's goalkeeper Rıfkı Razi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rıfkı Razi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lütfi Durul in the 81st minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Nizam Hadi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
