Ahmet Reha Serhan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Kahraman Alatay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Numan Onur, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Güray Unat took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kahraman Alatay. Kahraman Alatay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in MERDO's zone, Güray Unat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kahraman Alatay came out of the goal and Güray Unat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Numan Onur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 27 played minutes Çanakkale Spor Kulübü A.Ş got a freekick which was hit by Seyrani Abide. Remzi Sualp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Özbek Sökmensu in the 30th minute. When Ahmet Reha Serhan fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MERDO's protests and gave Ahmet Reha Serhan a yellow card for diving instead. Ahmet Reha Serhan kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, MERDO's Cabbar Kırca got a free kick in the 34th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Özbek Sökmensu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Remzi Sualp. Çanakkale Spor Kulübü A.Ş's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Özbek Sökmensu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Halit Fahri Karaman the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Çanakkale Spor Kulübü A.Ş protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Halit Fahri Karaman had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Çanakkale Spor Kulübü A.Ş! In the 44th minute of the game, MERDO got a penalty. The wind increased when Güray Unat made the kick off in the second half. Nadir Temel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Özbek Sökmensu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remzi Sualp having to interfere. After 56 played minutes Çanakkale Spor Kulübü A.Ş got a freekick which was hit by Kandemir Başarman. If Ahmet Reha Serhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Remzi Sualp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Reha Serhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Kandemir Başarman charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kandemir Başarman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 87th match minute, Çanakkale Spor Kulübü A.Ş was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kandemir Başarman to maneuver through the defense. After 89 played minutes Çanakkale Spor Kulübü A.Ş got a freekick which was hit by Hayri Veysi. Nadir Temel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Remzi Sualp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. MERDO walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
