Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cesur Türeli in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Burhanettin Ubeydullah prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Melih Cevdet Nuralp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Davut Şenbay, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After some careless play in the KARŞIYAKA defense, Birant Saver kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Melih Cevdet Nuralp. The KARŞIYAKA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Melih Cevdet Nuralp should have stopped the shot. Cesur Türeli struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Burhanettin Ubeydullah didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KARŞIYAKA. ÇorumFK played a much better game than KARŞIYAKA and deserved their victory. The KARŞIYAKA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
