In the 38th match minute, Adalar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yusuf Bahadır İğdemir to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute Temel Öztürk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arif Memduh Tanfer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Adalar getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Yusuf Bahadır İğdemir hit a great ball. Arif Memduh Tanfer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Temel Öztürk in the 44th minute of play. If İskender Baki Umur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when İskender Baki Umur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Temel Öztürk in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arif Memduh Tanfer saved Adalar from getting behind. İskender Baki Umurs short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Arif Memduh Tanfer to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ahmet Baki Özdal came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Adalar's Murathan Kadirsah. But to his dismay, Murathan Kadirsah quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2.
