Seyfettin Bilginer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bayındır Mehmet Nurbaki's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Teoman Tatu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Seyfettin Bilginer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14thth minute of the game Bayındır Mehmet Nurbaki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but barsel10a's Seyfettin Bilginer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Seyfettin Bilginer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bayındır Mehmet Nurbaki's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Seyfettin Bilginer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bayındır Mehmet Nurbaki, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Teoman Tatu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Seyfettin Bilginer. barsel10a's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teoman Tatu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Haldun Bayır showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kubat Okcun, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. If Teoman Tatu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haldun Bayır made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sancarbey Tekrim in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Ramazan Mahçupyan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haldun Bayır saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Sancarbey Tekrim made a precise shot to the right of Haldun Bayır. Göztepe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 37 minutes into the game, Ramazan Mahçupyan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. barsel10a's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Göztepe the free kick. The supporters of Göztepe booed when barsel10a was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramazan Mahçupyan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Göztepe's Bayındır Mehmet Nurbaki got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Erenay Eğriöz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haldun Bayır came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by barsel10a's Ramazan Mahçupyan. But to his dismay, Ramazan Mahçupyan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Göztepe's Bayındır Mehmet Nurbaki got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bayındır Mehmet Nurbaki to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in barsel10a's zone, Bayındır Mehmet Nurbaki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Seyfettin Bilginer came out of the goal and Bayındır Mehmet Nurbaki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teoman Tatu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Seyfettin Bilginer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Göztepe's goal looked a bit too open when Ramazan Mahçupyan came free, but Haldun Bayır reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Göztepe fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Göztepe's Bayındır Mehmet Nurbaki looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bayındır Mehmet Nurbaki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seyfettin Bilginer having to interfere. Seyfettin Bilginer came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Göztepe's Bayındır Mehmet Nurbaki. But to his dismay, Bayındır Mehmet Nurbaki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. If Bayındır Mehmet Nurbaki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the game, Teoman Tatu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Seyfettin Bilginer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 81st minute, Kubat Oksu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute, Gencer Tugay fired a really elegant long shot, but Haldun Bayır threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. 86 minutes into the game, Göztepe's Bayındır Mehmet Nurbaki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Seyfettin Bilginer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-2. After 91 minutes of play, Göztepe's Bayındır Mehmet Nurbaki made it 7-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Seyfettin Bilginer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Göztepe walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
