Spectators: 7482 (Terracing: 5613, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Hazım Umuralp made the kick off which started today's match. 5 minutes into the match, Turco's Hazım Umuralp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Peter Blakewell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arif Gaffar Tanyolaç in the 15th minute of play forced Turco's goalkeeper Gürhan Ramazanoğulları to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hüseyin Cahit Çırakoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Peter Blakewell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cebrail Camcı kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. When Hazım Umuralp came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Turco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hazım Umuralp couldn't finish the play. Peter Blakewell came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Turco's Hazım Umuralp. But to his dismay, Hazım Umuralp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The Gelâtâserray players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Turco were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arif Gaffar Tanyolaç made a kick off. With a little luck, Gelâtâserray's Peter Blakewell got control of the ball when Hazım Umuralp tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 63 minutes, Fatih Aytuğ managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gelâtâserray's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fatih Aytuğ was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 73 minutes into the game, Gelâtâserray's Şinasi Başarman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gürhan Ramazanoğulları made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Gelâtâserray's zone, Hüseyin Cahit Çırakoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter Blakewell came out of the goal and Hüseyin Cahit Çırakoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Hazım Umuralp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Turco's supporters rose to their feet, but Hazım Umuralp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peter Blakewell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cebrail Camcı hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Turco's Hazım Umuralp got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hüseyin Cahit Çırakoğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Gelâtâserray support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
