Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arif Gaffar Tanyolaç took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute of the match, Savaşer Kadrettin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Peter Blakewell saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mengen's Turan Şensal quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sarper Kutlucan, made in the 6th minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Savaşer Kadrettin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Peter Blakewell was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. With an all-out effort, Mengen's Peter Blakewell threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Savaşer Kadrettin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Peter Blakewell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Savaşer Kadrettin in the 12th minute of the match. Mengen's İdris Kalender played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Gaffar Tanyolaç in the 17th minute of play. The supporters of Mengen booed when Gelâtâserray was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nusret Çakman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gelâtâserray's Peter Blakewell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bumin Tokuş in the 22nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Savaşer Kadrettin took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Peter Blakewell to make any attempt to save it. In the 27th minute, Savaşer Kadrettin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mengen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. A collision led to Mengen getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. İnanç İftihar hit a great ball. If Savaşer Kadrettin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peter Blakewell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Savaşer Kadrettin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Bumin Tokuş came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Mengen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bumin Tokuş couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd minute, Mengen's Savaşer Kadrettin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Peter Blakewell. Peter Blakewell yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Savaşer Kadrettin was the one to do the kick off. Nusret Çakman kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 53rd minute Mengen were awarded a corner. Savaşer Kadrettin went to the cornerflag to take it. Mengen's Savaşer Kadrettin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Peter Blakewell in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Bumin Tokuş kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Arif Gaffar Tanyolaç charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arif Gaffar Tanyolaç the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arif Gaffar Tanyolaç kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Gelâtâserray's zone, Savaşer Kadrettin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter Blakewell came out of the goal and Savaşer Kadrettin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 77 minutes into the game, Savaşer Kadrettin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Peter Blakewell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Peter Blakewell came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Mengen's Savaşer Kadrettin. But to his dismay, Savaşer Kadrettin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Savaşer Kadrettin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Blakewell having to interfere. Peter Blakewell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Savaşer Kadrettin in the 85th minute of play. When Mengen's Savaşer Kadrettin in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gelâtâserray's goalie prevented a goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 89th minute of the game. One of Mengen:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gelâtâserray:s goal. The goalkeeper, İdris Kalender, was totally fooled by Gelâtâserray's Nusret Çakman, who 91 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Savaşer Kadrettin in the 95th minute of play forced Gelâtâserray's goalkeeper Peter Blakewell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
