After a defensive mix-up in Bismil SK's zone, Jan Ahlfors stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Menderes Ergener came out of the goal and Jan Ahlfors tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 4 minutes into the match, Bismil SK's goal looked a bit too open when Mustafa Numan Temizer came free, but Menderes Ergener reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 5 minutes, Uygur Tümenbay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bismil SK and the Aydin JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Menderes Ergener made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Numan Temizer in the 7th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Aydin JK's Jan Ahlfors sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Menderes Ergener narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Uygur Tümenbay was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 12th minute. Bismil SK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Uygur Tümenbay in the 12thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Wieslaw Przebendowski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some careless play in the Aydin JK defense, Alpay Özakan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wieslaw Przebendowski. The Aydin JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wieslaw Przebendowski should have stopped the shot. In the 19th minute, Mustafa Numan Temizer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Menderes Ergener was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Menderes Ergener showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustafa Numan Temizer, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Mustafa Numan Temizer took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Menderes Ergener. Menderes Ergener dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The referee showed Alpay Özakan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 39 played minutes Bismil SK got a freekick which was hit by Alpay Özakan. Wieslaw Przebendowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alim Uruk went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The supporters of Bismil SK booed when Aydin JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kamber Argun didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Doğuhan Şaki came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Bismil SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doğuhan Şaki couldn't finish the play.
