Şıkır Team's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Şamil Ilıcak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan Ahlfors's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Jan Ahlfors fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şamil Ilıcak having to interfere. Mustafa Numan Temizer struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Şamil Ilıcak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aydin JK. Wieslaw Przebendowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yağızalp Üçok in the 39th minute of the match. When Jan Ahlfors came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Aydin JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan Ahlfors couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yağızalp Üçok in the 43rd minute of play forced Aydin JK's goalkeeper Wieslaw Przebendowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mustafa Numan Temizer got free with Şamil Ilıcak in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 48th minute of the match Dorukhan Serhad sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Şamil Ilıcak skillfully saved the ball.

Şamil Ilıcak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Ahlfors, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute.
