The referee ignored SAZLIKSPOR's protests and gave Şentürk Sefaaddin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SAZLIKSPOR getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Besim Reyyan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Türker Korhan in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 51st minute, Kayacan Kadri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Tuna Özyay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Şentürk Sefaaddin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gürel Ünsal having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Yakakent's Feng Guang Ling got a free kick in the 55th minute. Tuna Özyay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ahmet Hasan Bilge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gürel Ünsal having to interfere. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yakakent's goalkeeper Gürel Ünsal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tuna Özyay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Günalp Avşar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Gürel Ünsal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When SAZLIKSPOR's Ahmet Hasan Bilge in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Yakakent fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gürel Ünsal should have stopped the shot. Yakakent's Gürel Ünsal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Hasan Bilge in the 90th minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Yakakent's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Hasan Bilge came free, but Gürel Ünsal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
