Reis Köksan hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Gülsehir's Muzaffer Oskan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Kağan Özek in the 10th minute of play. Lokman Gökkır made an important save on a dangerous shot by İlhami Sırat in the 12th minute. Şeref Yoruk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the match, Ali Kağan Özek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Muzaffer Oskan. Gülsehir's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ali Kağan Özek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Lokman Gökkır showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sakut Şah, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute, Ahmet Efe Atik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ahmet Efe Atik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. It was beautiful to see Yomra's Kutlu Turan in action when he in the 32nd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Ahmet Efe Atik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yomra's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Efe Atik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Muzaffer Oskan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Derviş İhtiyar got free with Lokman Gökkır in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Muzaffer Oskan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Kağan Özek in the 49th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sakut Şah stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lokman Gökkır stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of İlhami Sırat's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Sakut Şah's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lokman Gökkır read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Yomra's İskender Baki Volkan seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed İskender Baki Volkan the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Yomra protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and İskender Baki Volkan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of Yomra:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gülsehir:s goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Ahmet Efe Atik managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 90th minute, Gülsehir's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ali Kağan Özek fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ahmet Efe Atik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute of the match Gülsehir got a corner. Yomra's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Reis Köksan ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Gülsehir's Reis Köksan to fire away a dangerous shot which Lokman Gökkır despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ahmet Efe Atik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Yomra could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gülsehir throughout the match.
